According to a company release, Cayman Airways will provide seasonal service, with a 737-200 jet, direct to Miami from Grand Turk and Provo in the coming weeks. The direct service will give Turks and Caicos Islanders and residents a chance to Christmas shop and will make family travel easy during the festive season. The charter will operate on December 7, 11, 14 and 18th, departing from Grand Turk at 1:50pm and Provo at 12:45pm and arriving in Miami at 3:40pm. Round Trip fares will cost $325 plus taxes and $225 plus taxes one way. Operating these charters allows us to maximise use of our aircraft, while still servicing our existing schedule." |

Other Grand Turk charter information
Explore Grand Turk, introduce yourself to the richness of Bahamian history, folklore, culture and cuisine. This beautiful city lies just off the Florida coast, far closer than many destinations in the Caribbean. Grand Turk charter flights to the Island from South Florida have low prices per person when you choose a private 5 -9 passenger Grand Turk charter. Get your friends together, get a Grand Turk charter and hit the Atlantis Casino in Grand Turk, shop until you drop or relax on the beach. A Caribbean vacation can be paradise. Few other destinations in the world can promise beauty, style, and relaxation the way an island experience will surely deliver.
Although it won’t be the most romantic element of your vacation, planning and Grand Turk charter aircraft choice is the most important thing you can do to ensure you have the experience you imagine. When choosing a Grand Turk charter, private pilots need to understand the complexity of flying over water for significant distances. The Island can be navigated via VOR's. This method is not recommended. A GPS is highly suggested. When entering the Island with your Grand Turk charter, you must land at an official Airport of Entry. It is suggested that your Grand Turk charter lands before 4 pm (and during a weekday) to facilitate customs and your ground transportation. Arriving after 5 pm, your Grand Turk charter will be subject to "overtime fees" and additional landing fees and customs fees. General Aviation aircraft are not permitted to land in the Island after official sunset or before sunrise, unless an official I.F.R. Grand Turk charter flight plan has been filed.
Pilots are required to have the current approach plates and proper instrumentation on board to successfully complete an IFR Grand Turk charter landing. At controlled airports, Grand Turk charter pilots are advised to contact the tower when within 20 nautical miles from the airport. This contact will facilitate the landing procedures. When approaching non-controlled airports (most airports are non-controlled), the Grand Turk charter pilot is expected to announce the: Aircraft type, Identification number, Location, and Intentions over the universal unicom frequency of 122.8. The pattern altitude at uncontrolled airports is stipulated at 1,000 feet. A left-hand traffic pattern is to be assumed. If flying is not for you, Grand Turk offers all the types of Grand Turk charter yacht such as bareboat charter, skippered, crewed yachts, catamaran, sailboat, motor yacht and luxury yachts charter. There are marvelous places to tie up or anchor your Grand Turk charter all over the Island and the Keys.
